FAQS
Why should I worry about the chemicals in CLP?
With TecShield Elite you do not have to worry. Environmentally safe and safe for humans.
Look up the MSDS for the product you use. Almost all of the other products have chemicals known to cause cancer, or an aspiration risk. If they tell you to wear gloves and use in well ventilated area ... STOP USING IT.
Can a CLP really help ballistics?
Yes — Wet lubricants create sludge that impinges on the proper function of internal parts, and hydraulic interference where it can slow the movement of internal parts and slow the bullet.
Dry lubricants do not have these issues. Nothing for the carbon and grit to stick to, and the bullet flies without being held back.
Will it harm polymer frames or stocks?
No — it is safe on metal, plastic, rubber and composite surfaces.
Do I still need a separate solvent?
No — it cleans carbon, black powder, copper and lead fouling and surface rust, then leaves the dry protective barrier behind.
Is it really odorless?
Yes — the formula is odorless and non-hazardous, with no solvent smell. Fine for cleaning indoors.
How can a Dry Lubricant work as good?
The active ingredient bonds to the metal and protects the moving parts of your equipment from wear, malfunction, and rust.
